You know, I completely disagree with you. At first I was going to say that I agreed that 16 was a bit young to be having sex and then I remembered that my first time was a week after I turned 17 so no, it really isn’t. 13 and 14 is way too young. 15 is pushing it. 

Secondly, what I was going to say is that it’s no one’s business but your own on how many people you’ve slept with. Because it is your body and you have the right to do with it what you please and if if you want to have sex with 1, 13, 20 people then go ahead do it. 

Thirdly, if you did fall in love with someone and they asked if you had saved yourself and you said no then the other person should be understanding and love you anyway. If your boyfriend/girlfriend/whoever honestly gets offended and dumps you for having multiple partners then they clearly didn’t accept you unconditionally. Also, as I said before, your partner doesn’t need to know how many people you’ve had sex with. As long as you get tested for STDs and HIV/AIDs then I don’t see anything wrong with it. It’s not like it would make it any less meaningful. 

Just my two cents.

13, 14, 15-year olds are very young to be engaging in something that can potentially change their entire lives, but we should be educating them, not labeling them as sluts. Truth be told, it was a month before my 15th birthday when I first had sex and I don’t regret it! I was just lucky that a two-year relationship came of it…and even at that, I was still so immature. But I cannot un-eat my cereal and any future relationships will just have to deal.
